| The Congress Avenue Bridge leads
into downtown Austin, which is the heart of
rapidly growing area of more than 1 million
residents. The Austin area is a desirable
place to explore, visit and live. Austin
is home to large technology companies such as Dell,
Motorola and Advanced Micro Devices. Despite
a recent decline in dot-com employment, Austin lives
up to its Silicon Hills moniker. There are
some great attractions in the downtown area.
Learn a little Texas history at the State
Capitol and the O. Henry Home, or go look at a
Moonlight Tower up close and personal. A
great selection of libraries and museums makes
your choices almost unlimited.
